  • Disaster Ready - (log in required) - Gender-based Violence and Child Protection Case Management Steps online course - This free online course introduces humanitarian case management staff to key processes for ensuring decisions and actions are responsive to the unique needs of a survivor, and aim to prevent future harm and reduce risk. Learn international standards and UNHCR’s “Best Interests Procedure” to deliver quality case management services for Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Child Protection (CP). This course was generously donated by UNHCR and is available in English, French, and Spanish.

  • DSG Hub - December 15th - Vendor and Product Showcase: DSG Technologies Advancing Financial Inclusion. Global Communities will open this highly interactive event by introducing the new and improved DSG Vendor and Products tool on the DSG Hub and eight DSG vendors will briefly present their digital solutions for savings groups and invite you to visit their virtual booths where you will be able to explore tools to accelerate safe, inclusive and sustainable digitization of savings groups. Register here.

  • GSMA - The GSMA Innovation Fund for Anticipatory Humanitarian Action - will back solutions that leverage mobile digital technology, anticipate potential humanitarian impacts and enable effective early response. The GSMA is open to applications from non-profit organisations (including NGOs, INGOs, humanitarian agencies and social enterprises) as well as for-profit organisations (limited to commercially viable start-ups, SMEs and social enterprises with up to 250 employees). Successful projects will receive a grant of between £100-250,000 to scale their innovation over a 15 -18mths. DEADLINE: 19th January 2023
