  • US BPRM -

    • FY 2025 Request for Concept Notes for NGO Programs Benefitting Refugees in Ethiopia, Kenya, and South Sudan - Deadline: Jan 17, 2025 - BPRM seeks concept notes for humanitarian assistance activities in Ethiopia, Kenya and South Sudan, focusing on various sectors such as education, health, protection and WASH. Concept notes must target at least 50 percent of their participants as refugees or returnees and should incorporate protection activities across all sectors. The solicitation process is two fold: submission of concept notes followed by full proposals for selected organizations. Separate concept notes must be submitted for each country program. The amount of funding available per award will be determined based on applications received and appropriations made available.

    • FY2025 Request for Concept Notes for Global Protection Programs - Deadline: Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:59:59 p.m. Funding range - $200,000 - $750,000 per year. This Notice of Funding Opportunity seeks global initiatives that advance humanitarian protection for refugees, asylum seekers, and/or stateless persons. Concept notes can include activities that advance protection through: Strengthening capacity; Advocacy; Creating and sharing best practice and tools; Coordination. Other activities that promote humanitarian protection are also welcome. Concept notes can address general humanitarian protection or focus on the following specific protection themes: Persons with disabilities; Stateless persons; LGBTQI+ persons; Older persons; Child protection; Mental health and psychosocial support

  • Embassy of Japan - Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects in Uganda - Deadline: 15-Feb-2025 - Any project geared towards the improved welfare for the grassroots is considered for financing under GGP. It is preferable, however, that projects fit into one of these areas Primary/Secondary Education; Vocational Training; Primary Health Care and Reproductive Health; Water and Sanitation; Agricultural Development; Reconstruction for Disaster. The grant amount generally does not exceed 10,000,000 Japanese Yen on one-time, single-year financing.
